The Legend of the Bermuda Triangle
Imagine going to a place out of curiosity and never coming back, as a matter of fact going and never be heard of again .This is what happened to many sailors, pilots, passengers, and tourist who dared to visit the Bermuda Triangle. All that goes there, never comes out of there. The Bermuda Triangle is an unsolved mystery, which brought the attention of people interested in that type of genre.
The legend of the Bermuda triangle came to be ever since its first incident, which was flight 19. It began on December 5, 1945 when a group of five aircrafts mysteriously disappeared. Flight 19 was a routine training mission of five avenger torpedo bombers including the 3 seated avenger which was the US Navy top ship and submarine killer. Four hours after they took off, they vanished into thin air leaving no marks or traces. Once the disappearance was reported, a Naval Air search rescue plane took off and within 20 minutes later it had disappeared as well and no one heard from them again. Legend has it that the Bermuda triangle covers the seas between Miami, The Island of Bermuda, and Puerto Rico, which concludes to an area of one and a half million square miles. Since 1492 when Columbus first sailed into the area and saw strange lights in the sky, the amount of unexplainable disappearances has grown. As mentioned in the video “Where is the Bermuda triangle video for kids?” not only do planes disappear but also ships, “Many ships sailing through it or planes flying over it have apparently disappeared”.
Many incidents of disappearing ships in the Bermuda triangle started with Christopher Columbus’ when along with his crew noticed odd occurrences. The ships compass began malfunctioning, there was very strange lights over the water, and the sea was rougher than it had been the entire voyage. It is said, that he saw a fireball fly through the sky and crash into the sea.
