Great product. Best blogging platform out there and its free! Using the Wordpress hosting service is also a good idea - great service - easy to use and have you up and running in a matter of minutes.

Don't look any further - if you need a blog - this is the one to go with!

Very easy to install and customize its look and functionality using the plug-ins.

The Code is easy to customize as well and the large community driven contributions (plugins, themes, etc.) makes this even more attractive.

In line WYSWYG editing and powerful scheduling functionality makes this a great product to work with/on.

There is so much going on with Wordpress β€” widgets, plugins, even e-commerce shopping carts. I don’t know why anyone would choose Blogger or another platform instead.

categorize your posts by topic, not just by date, hundreds of themes/skins,plugins, large user community with help forums, extensive documentation, ability to completely customize Wordpress code, ease of installation, no ads, abililty to distribute podcasts with audio player plugins.
