In computer gaming, Nexuiz is a first-person shooter by Alientrap Software. Its engine, gamecode and data are free software, distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Version 1.0 was released on May 31, 2005. The current version, 2.3, was released on May 31, 2007. Nexuiz uses DarkPlaces, a significantly modified Quake engine. The logo is based on the Chinese character "_," meaning strength.   [edit]
