Want a good timer tool that I can use for stopwatches, and other alarms. Have tried ClockWork, but am curious to know of other options. Basically, something that lets me set up events and get notifications when those events occur.

Hey Djos, an application I use and really, really like for this purpose is http://ostatic.com/152642-software-proprietary/awaken. It is not free but the interface is lovely, the developer is responsive and active, and the product is great.
