AJAX based web meeting platform that is a great alternative to Webex, Goto Meeting, etc. etc. The price is right and the darn thing actually works! Installation is a little cumbersome but nothing the Sys. Admin in your office wont be able to handle in a couple of hours.
DimDim is another one of those products that claims to be Open Sourc e to get the marketing hype but then does everything it can to keep the community from participating.
The SourceCode as published won't compile into a functional app.
The Code base appears to be intentionally obfuscated to make community changes as difficult as possible.
To get a functional version of the app you have to download the Compiled installer.
The "Community Edition" that is reported to be the Open Source version is Cripple Ware.
The liscensing the Code is said to be released under doesn't match the Liscense that actually comes
I effect it's another bait and switch scam at least in my book. I'd recommend not getting to close to this one.
Naman pretty much somes it up with the statement "The Price is Right?". If your looking to pay for your conferencing solution then perhaps this might be Right for you but anyone that advertises it as OpenSource and then trys to get your to buy it isn't someone I want to do business with.
