How does this compare to cognos and other enterprise BI suites?

Heard these guys raised a boatload of cash from investors but I haven't used this and don't know anyone who has.

Any thoughts on how this compares to other leading (Cognos, BI, etc.) BI suites out there?

    I have seen a demo of Pentaho and it is impressive what they have been able to achieve in such a short period of time with limited "opensource" resources. But, I don't think they're ready to take on established enterprise players - Business Objects (Crystal Reports), Microsoft (Reporting Services) and Cognos (ReportNet) - in this space just yet.


    Give it some time and it will be ready - i.e. if it doesn't get acquired before...
