For a casual Blogger is the easiest to setup and administer IMO - Google always makes it easy!
But if you're a professional blogger with not too much other technical knowhow - typepad is the way to go - you'll have to pay but its way simpler and easier to manage than wordpress

I have one wordpress.com hosted blog and I have my own that I host on my ISPs web space.
