I'm the Director of Marketing at oDesk.com - I'm interested in OStatic because I believe it's a great resource for business-types and programming-types to meet, collaborate, and discover more about the thriving open-source community.
Also, oDesk is built on the belief that with the right tools and best practices, distributed teams can work just as if they were in the same office. I believe the open-source community is proof-positive of the power of distributed teams so I think we can learn a lot from this model of work.
