Google Sites is a structured wiki offered by Google as part of Google Apps. It was launched on February 28, 2008 and is currently in beta stage.
Google Sites started out as JotSpot, a software company that offered enterprise social software - the product was targeted mainly to small- and medium-sized businesses.
According to Google, "Google Sites, a new offering from Google Apps, makes creating a team site as easy as editing a document. Use Google Sites to centralize all types of information -- from videos to presentations -- and share your site with just a few people, your entire organization, or the world."
Sites is also part of Google Apps, so it can be deployed for a team working as part of a Google Apps serviced domain

This is not really a true wiki, but it is very easy to use and get set up with. Instead of complex wiki markup, it uses simple WYSIWYG to get the basic tasks set up. It has a sitemap viewer, and lets you arrange and set up your site as desired. Since it is part of Google Apps, you have control over who has access to it. Some wiki software make user management cumbersome. Things are relatively easy to do in Google Sites.
