There seem to be a lot of mac aficiandos on this site and after 15 years of paying Bill Gates for software I decided it was time to start lining Steve Jobs' pockets and I just got me a brand spanking new Macbook Pro! Love it, but now I need software!! I don't know the first thing about Macs and am still getting used to the new interface. Was hoping I could get some suggestions for cool office productivity tools like to-do lists, file management tools, and most importantly - replacements for my old MSFT tools - Office, Visio, Project, Front Page, etc. etc. etc.
Thanks!!

Add Answerhttp://www.opensourcemac.org/ is a good place to start. Pretty elementary stuff but nice place to start identifying some free apps for your new macbook - I'm jealous!!
Get Omni Graffle as a replacement to Visio. It ain't free, but definitely worth it!
Mail.app kicks Outlook's ass. The integration with iCal, spotlight and address book are stellar.
