How often does Clam update it's virus definitions?

I have not used this before. How often does Clam update it's virus definitions? Do they sync automatically, can the user configure the updates.

    Yes the virus db update is configurable through its preference window.

    ClamWin Preferences->Internet Updates (tab)->Update Frequency->Time


    There is also an option to update immediately on logon.

    And incase you did not know but since ClamWin does not have realtime virus scan you could use WinPooch.
