Google's Android open source mobile operating system is on a tear, but it particularly annoys Microsoft, Oracle and Apple, notes Canonical COO Matt Asay in a post on GigaOM. However, "the most interesting of the Android patent lawsuits is Oracle’s," Asay says, "in large part because it seems the least motivated by a desire to cripple Android." By contrast, he notes that there are clear signs that Microsoft and Apple seem to want primarily to throttle Android's momentum. Check out the post here.
