Mobile Moodle App Arrives for Open Source e-Learners

If you're unfamiliar with the fast-growing world of online learning (e-learning) it's becoming a huge business, and top universities such as U.C. Berkeley now offer free webcasts and podcasts to the public. Did you know that one of the biggest players in software and platforms for e-learning is a free, open source offering? In the latest piece of Moodle news, there is now a Moodle iPhone app.

The Moodle iPhone app also works with the iPod Touch and any iPad running iOS 4.2 or later. The folks behind Moodle note that the mobile app is not a replacement for the Moodle interface, but it does provide a lot of useful tools that allow you to upload media, send Moodle messages, and more. You can also use it to connect with other participants in Moodle courses.
