    Regarding the licensing of a software

    Hello everybody,
    i recently paid Rs6000 INR equivalent to 122.222 US Dollars on an open source project but didnt know it was one until i was told by my friend..

    Apparently, the person from whom i bought had downloaded the project named jadhoc implemented by the people of the Bremen University, Germany.

    It was sad to hear that the actual project itself is freely available for download at http://freshmeat.net/projects/jadhoc after i paid for it..

    Now i need to know whether i can legally take action on him from whom i bought the project..?

    Please let me know..
