SourceForge's Community Choice Awards: Winners Named

We covered the SourceForge Community Choice Awards announcement in early July, and now the winners have been named. This marks the first year when SourceForge's awards for the best open source projects have been open to all open source projects. OpenOffice is far and away the big winner, but I was pleased to see some lesser known projects get recognition, too. Here, below the fold, are the winners.

Can't get amule setup on my mac?

Downloaded it and tried to configure it as per the instructions on the amule wiki but it doesn't work!! Installation is a breeze on the PC and I just can't seem to get it to work on the mac.... Any links/ideas?

Any particular reason I should be looking at Songbird?

Was looking at the songbird site and screen shots and I can't, for the life of me, understand why I would want to download and deal with this when I have iTunes for free.

I have a mac, an ipod, itunes and emule and can't see why I would need anything else to enhance my digital music collection/experience...

Any suggestions on how I can speed up my emule downloads?

I have a pretty fast connection at home - am able to achieve download speeds of upto 1 Mbps (when downloading from apple.com and the like) but my emule downloads seem to cap out at 15-20 Kbps which is crappy when you're trying to download a 10-15 gigs on a regular basis - don't ask what!! :)

Any thoughts/Suggestions??
