In my personal opinion I never viewed police in a negative way, I will always respect police officers because they make sure out streets and environment is safe. Trusting police officers is very easy to do because when you a young them come in your class room and talk to you about your career job and what you want to be growing up. They tell you all the good things about being a police officer when you’re a young child and how much fun they have on the job. Some police officers follow the law and follow the rules that they have to go by, but some don’t and just do what they want but they have authority because there are wearing a police uniform. The police officers that think they have more authority start abusing what they are allowed to do to citizens, that’s how many people not trust police officers and not to want to see the good in police officers anymore. Trusting and understanding police officers are hard to do once the police officers break that trust with you, when you see on the news police killing African American men make you question police officers on why they do certain things.
