While summer is the easiest, winter is known to be the hardest season to drive in. It takes a good set of driving skills to drive in those harsh conditions. Winter driving is exceedingly different from driving in the summer, as you don’t have to worry about some stuff, but again you do have stuff to worry about in the summer. In this essay, I am going to compare and contrast driving in winter, and driving in summer.
As you’d have to change your car for summer, you’d have to do the same for winter. You have to plan out your trip, and you have to plan it out very carefully. Just like you have to have different materials for winter, you’ll have to have the materials you need for summer. Both can also cause damage to your car, so that is why you have to get your car in the shop and get what it needs for the season.
There are plenty of ways that driving in both seasons are very different. In warm weather, most engine oil tends to thin out, which can prevent it from properly lubricating the engine. If you’re hitting the road during the summer, you won’t have to worry about getting stuck in the snow or hitting a patch of ice on a bridge. On the other hand, if you’re taking a winter driving trip down south - maybe to go skiing - you’ll have to worry about both.
