Online vs Traditional Education
When you think about applying for a school, it’s a pretty hard decision. Especially if you are still deciding about online or traditional education. There are a lot of pros and cons for both online and traditional, but is there an obvious choice? When you ask people that take online classes what they like about it, they would probably say something along the lines of flexible classes, much cheaper than traditional education, or that you could access your classes from anywhere. If 2you asked someone that got traditional classroom education, they would probably say something about making friends that they wouldn’t have made where they live, getting help in first-person, or even just somewhere to escape to when you don’t want to be home. Most people would probably say that traditional and online education are different but they actually have much in common.
There are many differences between online and traditional education but someone of the ones that stand out are the self-motivation that online students have to have, the amount of feedback you can get back from your teacher in a certain amount of time, and the classroom experience and interaction. Self-motivation is key when taking online classes. You have to manage your time wisely in order to get your work done on time without hustling to get it done last minute.
