Oprah Winfrey:
The name Oprah Winfrey is known by people across the globe which makes her a household name. Oprah is one of today’s most influential women in the media. She is also one of the most powerful and richest businesswoman of the decade. “In 1998 Oprah Winfrey was listed one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century by editors of Time Magazine”. Oprah is currently CEO and chairwoman of The Oprah Winfrey Network: OWN since 2011. But known of this easy for her.
Oprah Gail Winfrey was born on January 29, 1954, in Kosciusko, Mississippi to Vernita Lee and Vernon Winfrey. Oprah had a tough life growing up but she was driven her love for being in front of people. After moving with her grandmother at an early age. Her grandmother taught her how to read by time she was three years old. She would read scriptures and poetry to the church on Sundays. She even skipped kindergarten and third grade. Then the worst happened at the age of six when she was sent to live with her mother. This is the time when Oprah was molested By the time she is 14 she was living with her father in Nashville Tennessee.
