The Rise of A King
The story talks about a young lion cub Simba who is destined to be the next king of pride rock after his father Mufasa, but his uncle Scar thinks he was meant to be the next king not Simba so he kills his brother and makes Simba thinks he did it. Fed with the guilt of his father's death, Simba runs away from the Pride lands and meets Timon and Pumba who are meerkat and warthog respectively they teach him how to forget about his past and move on to what his future can become. The years go by, Simba grows to be a majestic lion. After Pumba has an encounter with Nala, Simba's best friend she convinces him to go back to pride rock to challenge his uncle Scar for the throne.
Simba succeeds in defeating Scar and becomes the new king after this happens Simba and Nala give birth to a daughter Kiara who is destined to become Queen of the pride lands. The main character Simba goes through a lot in the movie. The death of his father and the jealousy of his uncle causes him to run away and grow up in the jungle while reflecting in his father's death. When he was found by Timon and Pumba he was depressed from the pain of watching his father die, ‘Hakuna Matata’ a song sang to make Simba forget about his past but after years of trying to hide it he confronts it which makes him go back to challenge his uncle. ‘And so we are all connected in the circle of life’ the protagonist is told this by his father who teaches him how to be a great king, this is said in a serious tone which tells us readers that the matter had to be taken seriously.
