Command Timed Out Error on OOo 2.4?

I recently upgraded to Leopard and everytime I start OOo it gives me a "Command Time Out" error. It doesn't really effect the functionality/performance but it's irritating and I'm sure its a simple fix. Would appreciate your help.

    Cheers.

Anyone else facing the same problem and any potential solutions?

    Mysql busted on Leopard?

MySQL doesn't seem to work on Leopard after I did the upgrade. The prefs pane doesn't seem to be able to start/stop the service. Is this just something wrong up on my end? I had removed the auto-start script, so I'm not sure if this is a left-over effect of this, or something else...
