About Me |
An avid blogger, philosopher, researcher, techie, analyst, and poweruser, I've been actively using linux for about 3 years, and I've used it as my sole O.S. for the last year or so.
My personal favorite distros are OpenGeu for speed, simplicity and sheer coolness, and Kubuntu (which I disliked until version 4+) for functionality, innovation, integration, and a very active development team (KDE) backing it.
Of those that I've experimented with in the past and recommend (for those that like experimenting-- these are too specialized for mainstream use IMO): Gentoo, Puppy (and derivatives), Looking Glass live CD, Damn Small, Symphony OS, Slackware, Slax, mPentoo, and fluxbox-based distros.
Other hobbies including watching anime, reading manga, browsing wikipedia, singing, playing old-school roms (via emulators), writing fiction, and self-analysis. I also speak decent japanese. |
