Hi,
I used DB designed for mysql schema design & for table relationship diagrams. But its not good I feel. Can anybody suggest me any other good open source tools something like DB designer.

Check out the clay modeler plugin for Eclipse. It is GUI based and pretty slick. The free version has limitations like not being able to print, for example, but you can also use it to reverse engineer existing schemas...

    Good Luck.

Workbench is good. It's a bit buggy on the Mac, and has often times crashed on me during reverse engineering a database, especially if I only select a few tables and not the entire schema - it cannot seem to break dependencies too well.

That being said, it is pretty tight, especially since it is free and the price is right!

The mysql Workbench has been greatly improved in the last year. It used crash like a crackhead without a dealer; much better now.
