i want to ask about what more secure and lightwidth oss community application which can be use for my website at d-bes.net. especially with php web base application.

    A simple CMS like Drupal or Joomla should suffice

    It looks like your site is a blog - get wordpress or typepad and you should be good to go. You can muck around with joomla and drupal but if you want simple social networking capabilities - go with Ning - simple, cheap/free (depending on what you want) and zero maintenance...

    You might also want to check out BuddyPress - a new offering by WordPress.


    Pigeon, you cannot really integrate as tightly with Ning, as you know, but if you want to have a hosted offering, that is the way to go.

    Amazingly enough - Sun has released socialsite - a social network server! Can't understand why they would do that but there's an option for you - Socialsite - https://socialsite.dev.java.net/
