Firefox 3 is running sloooooooooooooooooooow

I'm using a Mac w/ Leopard and firefox 3 has been crawling off late. I never had this problem with FF 2 - does anyone know why this might be happening - a software conflict? I don't know, any ideas?

    Get the update (3.0.1) - Been using it for about 10 hours now and it is awesome - i.e. it hasn't crashed as yet and is running about as fast as it should be ;)

    May be it's because your cache, firefox 3 saves all of your browsing history and index it.

    Thanks! I upgraded to 3.0.1 and did clear my cache and it is much better now!!

    I use 2.0.0.16, i think it's better than ff3
