    Glass Fish is Webserver and Application Server.


    1) You can deploy Web Application (.war)

    2) You can also deploy Enterprise Applications (.ear)

    3) You can deploy JBI components too.

    4) It contains Service Engines and Binding Components for JBI projects

    GlassFish is an application server.

    Of course, it contains a web server that implements Servlet/JSP spec.
