Good Open Source Email Archiving Tool

Hi - I have to suggest a good email archiving tool that will allow us to securely archive our email systems. The systems are Exchange hosted, and their are also sendmail based systems. Any suggestions for good email archiving systems (ideally open source) would be very much appreciated.

    Try MailArchiva - you can use it to archive inbound, outbound, internal emails and its great for compression, encryption, search and retrieval, auditing, email recovery, etc.


    The open source version supports Exchange 2000 and 2003 and the enterprise edition (paid) supports Exchange server 2007. It also supports multiple mail systems like Zimbra & Postfix.

    try CEwall from FilterWorks, this supports every email server (incoming, outgoing and internal email). Exchange 03-07-10, novell, postfix - sentmail
