Groovy and Grails

Has anyone read the recently-published, "Beginning Groovy and Grails" book? Is it worth buying?

    I am part way through it and it is an excellent resource. Watch out for some of the code samples though. There were changes in Grails 1.0 that caused differences in the sample code. The publisher didn't seem to care about making the necessary changes easy to find but the authors did a great job responding to email and provided this link: http://www.beginninggroovyandgrails.com


    My favorite feature of the book is that it provides a non-trivial sample app to work through the concepts being described. Having the hands on coding is a big plus.


    For me it was worth the cost to purchase this book.
