How to Create an iPhone Application that Uses the Cloud and Yet Can Work Off-line

Suppose and application’s database is in cloud, but it’s an iPhone app which also needs to run off-line. Is that at all possible? Or am I fantasizing?

    No, it is possible to some extent. If the functionalities of your app is such that it can store data some limited amount of data on the phone. Although every time you are connected and open that app, it will prompt you to sync the app.
