Lots of free content out there
Heavy reading is the spec
http://java.sun.com/j2ee/j2ee-1_4-fr-spec.pdf
Sun have their tutorials
http://java.sun.com/javaee/reference/tutorials/
However my personal favourite because of the breakdown in slides is
www.javapassion.com/j2ee/
Enjoy

It depends of what you mean by "J2EE architecture", i'm not sure what that means anymore myself...but anyways, you shouldn't focus on just one book, try looking at some Design Patterns books as well, the SCEA 5 study guide is really good since it talks about all the different parts of an JEE or J2EE architecture, try giving that a look: http://www.amazon.com/Certified-Enterprise-Architect-Study-310-051/dp/B0...
also as moochie posted, the java passion tutorials are great www.javapassion.com/j2ee/
