Want a netbook: need advice on purchase

    I use an ASUS EeePC 900, under Linux and it works beautifully. I replaced the stock installation with the latest version of Ubuntu (9.04) Netbook edition. It works very well. The only problem I had on the physical side is that sometime when I type, the cursor getsmoved, as the touchpad is just under the keyboard, and since I don't watch the display, i can't see the error. I had to disable the clicking feature of the touchpad, but otherwise, this is a great device. I have the one that as the 16G SSD disk, not the hard disk.
