Here's a great article on the need for Open Source adoption in Healthcare. The amount of paperwork has been exploding, and the lack of standards has been slowing down the adoption of common information-sharing initiatives. NY Times begs the question. Misys is going open source. Do you think this is a growing trend? Will people really set up and adopt these standards? Will small doctors take this up?
