    Current trend is in positive side I must say....Lot of people and companies giving up using proprietary and expensive software due to financial issues. It's a good time for Open source to grow and it needs lot of support from the investors...also percentage of Linux desktop users have also risen according to the latest usage share reports....although this was a 0.12% increase..its very significant Given windows XP is continually declining by around 0.64% every month.
