Get Liferay (http://www.liferay.com) and go through the documentation. Unfortunately @Vaishali, with questions like these I don't think portal development is your thing. Stick to what you do best...

well richard thanx for ur response......__but pls find below the actual quetsion which i had posted loong back...n never got ne response....now that i fired a general question ...i got a quicker response.....so probably this is what....!!!____i m developing a portal...i tried to find many options by reading the huge material over net....____of these i thot of following but needed some guidance whether i m procedding in right direction or needed sum changes..:____1. JSPs to generate html (css) view, javascript for screen level validations, servelets n maybe beans as middle layer for processing business logic - for this JBoss as app server with Spring framework, n oracle database.____2. JBoss with portal framework____3. JSPs and Servelets on Tomcat web server____4. eXo or Liferay portal....but i need to find info on these options....____I wanted toknow which is the safest option...as in robust software n a lesser learning curve..(since time is less)____In option no. 1 - Is JBoss appserver required or can i use on only Spring webflow framework.and maybe sum more components of Spring...____My requirement is to develop a portal....with 10 - 30 users logging to the portal....user management being base module and respective screens for various modules.....__the application should be scalable and extensible....__Thanks
