What is your preferred runtime profiler for Java (and why)? JProbe, JProfiler, YourKit, or other

    We use JProfiler as default toolkit for runtime profiling. Maybe other toolkit provide much features and results, but JProfiler usual for most developers.

    JProfiler.


    * Simple setup to get going

    * Nice vialiaisation of execution

    * support for application servers

    JProfiler is a must have tool

    Try also VisualVM that comes with JDK6
