Over the past few years, I have seen websites come and go. I've seen good design. I've seen bad design. Not all customers are equal (on technological grounds). My specialties lie in making things easier for people to use (user interfaces), and being able to communicate effectively with my customers, while still being able to code websites and their supporting applications effectively. I am also prone to keeping the code as clean as possible. I am heavily involved in the Drupal community, and run a service dedicated to running and supporting Drupal websites for "normal" people (making Drupal an easier system for non-technical people to manage). I was involved in the Joomla project until early 2006, but wouldn't consider myself up-to-date with it, however I am very familiar with osCommerce and its successor, Zen Cart. I have experience in writing for PHP4 and PHP5, MySQL 4 and 5, Data Conversions (upgrades and exporting data from one system to another), Adobe Flex (MXML, Actionscript 3 and connecting to PHP/MySQL, both online and standalone applications), Adobe Flash and working with technologies surrounding ecommerce - setting up shopping carts to interact with a wide variety of payment processors (not just Paypal!)
