I am a web developer and designer with seven years experience coding for the Web. I started my career as a producer for online media outlets. I taught myself the finer points of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, picked up some PHP and MySQL along the way, and dabbled with Flash / ActionScript to boot. I am passionate about web development and how people use technology to connect and inform. I am also a fan and advocate of free and open source technologies and applications both for the cost advantages and the freedom to tinker that it offers.
