Winmerge - An Open Source File Comparison Tool

WinMerge is a brilliant color-coded File comparison tool. I use this on a frequent basis at my work place, where I have to compare large directories with thousands of files, to find differences. (Source code files)


WinMerge is easily customizable to skip white lines, deal with Carriage returns in Unix/Windows environment, wild card matches and so forth.


I'd gladly recommend WinMerge to all programmers and system administrators, looking for a visual way to compare large number of files
