In 12 Angry Men, use of logos is more common than pathos because persuasion was a goal for the twelve men and they all often used the appeal to logic than to the emotions. The two jurors I picked are Juror #8 and # . Juror 8 uses a lot of logos, as he is the juror doing a majority of the convincing from the start. An example of where he does this is when he is trying to convince the other jurors that the old man could not have moved as quickly as said in the case due to a previous stroke. He explains "I'd like to find out if an old man who drags one foot when he walks, because he had a stroke last year, could get from his bedroom to his front door in fifteen seconds." This is a logical view at how the old man could not have gotten to the window to see the boy run out of his home.
