Termination of pregnancy (abortion) is not the termination of a baby, which is not murder.Many people say that expecting mothers use abortion as birth control. There are women who are actually taking birth control when they are pregnant. They are on the pill or the shot and still wind up pregnant. Condoms are liable to break at any time. Trying to protect themselves ended up pregnant with a child. So without an abortion the mother would end up with an unwanted child. What's the point of having a child if it will lead to neglect? The mom could get have gotten an abortion because she is financially stable to support a child. So some people ask why not use adoption. Well everyone is emotionally and mentally ready for that. Who wants to have their child and then watch it being given away? Another reason woman abort their fetuses is because they have to choose between their life and the fetuses. In most cases like this, the fetus still would have mental problem later in life and most women would like to be around to see the children grow up.Other main reason women have abortion is because of a sexual crime. Every year thousands of women become pregnant as a result of rape or incest. These are very traumatic crimes and it's already difficult to cope with them. Forcing victims to carry a physical reminder for nine months can cause enormous stress, often leading to mental health issues. Abortion is often the best way to protect the health of these women.
