After high school I plan to pursue a career in the music buisness, more specifically as a recording engineer. There are various reasons for my decision, but three of the most important one are; I'm very involved in music now, I have found a good music school which I am looking into, and I know there are a lot of opportunities for people with a recording engineer degree. First of all, my stepbrother introduced me to music at an early age. It was at about the age of 12 my stepbrother would always listen to rock music and play his guitar along to his favorite songs. He had been trying to teach me for a long time how to play the guitar, but I just could not get the hang of it. Later, my mother enrolled me into private lessons that were being thought by the guitarist of a fairly popular progressive rock band in Mexico called "anchla'. I picked up everything he taught me. I learned how to play the guitar quickly. He told me that the problem with the way that my brother was trying to teach was that he would only try to teach me songs and not the basics of the guitar which was I needed. When I got into high school I joined the guitar class and quickly moved onto advanced and then into performing, and I am now helping the instructor teach the songs to the other students. I am in a rock group that doing pretty well right now. My second reason is that I have found a good music school that I am looking into.
