Animal cruelty, an upcoming worry of the world, is becoming bigger and bigger by the minute, and people are starting to seriously revolt against it. Animal testing and brutality is a topic that has been taking over for the longest time, "dating back to the hunter-gatherers" (Peta, 1). The topic is important because many feel as though there should be a worldwide ban on it. Although a small fraction of people aware of animal cruelty believe that the testing is beneficial to the society, it is unruly, and many people are beginning to question if this uncovered part of science is what they want to be exposed to.
Animal testing is very unreasonable as the media has now brought to our attention from pictures and videos. The incredible raise in testing is causing animal populations to decrease and have genetic mutations by the harmful chemicals. People are opening their eyes to the truth that makeup companies do in fact injure animals by "dripping substances such as toluene into rabbits' eyes, causing pain and sometimes blindness" (Locke, 2). The world population needs to realize that some animals don't deserve this, and scientists are ruining animal species by killing the poor rodents and domestic animals from dangerous toxins.

Several countries like "Europe for example, have banned the sale of cosmetics with ingredients tested on animals" (Michaels, 1). Europeans see the turmoil this testing is causing and quickly put a stop to it. Europe, however, wasn't the only country to monitor the animal brutality. In addition, "Israel and India have banned the sale of any cosmetic ingredients that have been tested on animals" (Peta, 1). These few countries are the start of a changing revolution, no matter how different they are. All animal lovers are coming together and uniting to revolt against the unreasonable tests.
