I Just Want to be Me

Throughout our life we have been told, that only greatness shall unfold. They make success seem so easy to acquire, yet as I sit here I know nothing but tire.
Growing up was all fun and games, but now it seems as if I have made the wrong aims. They say go to school, to not do so would make you a fool.
So we live and we learn, we laugh and we yearn. But yearn for what do we really know? Or are we just following the rest of the show?
What is the point of going through the motions, if we end up just like the rest of the fish meandering through the ocean? I sit here with finals upcoming, but all I want to do is take off running.
But to where would I run? Of course somewhere that is indeed more fun. Far far away from the plethora of despair that appears to be floating around in the air.
Take a look and you shall see, an abundance of others that are just like me. Attempting to study and learn, all trying to end up in a place where there is money to earn.
