Cosmetic surgery should be banned in South Korea
Cosmetic surgery in South Korea is very common. Both men and women do plastic surgery. Many South Korean do plastic surgery was advertisements for various cosmetic surgery were posted everywhere like people could saw the advertisements for cosmetic surgery when walking in the streets, the posters posted on bus, taxi, etc. and when people were waiting for train in underground stations, they could saw the advertisements about cosmetic surgery eventually because advertisements were showed in everywhere. It encouraged people to do plastic surgery. In my opinion, cosmetic surgery should be banned in South Korea.
Cosmetic Surgery violates human ethics. Because every human’s look is nature (Elfving-Hwang, J 2013). Appearance of human is a gift from the god. People should be thanksgiving but not do cosmetic surgery instead. Once you have done plastic surgery which means that you are not respect to your parents. Since human’s look is created according to their parents’ look. People do cosmetic surgery is because they do not have confidence of their look or they think beauty is important than everything. In contrast, some people who looks not pretty or even their look are flawed by a scar, scorched by fire in an accident etc. They are still optimistic at any time. They not only do not do cosmetic surgery but also be thanksgiving. They deserve to be admired. Many people will become negative or some of them will even suicide because they think their appearance is ugly. Cosmetic surgery is incarnation of devils (Sullivan 2000:29). Cosmetic surgery makes people addicted to it. Moreover, it destroy human morality. It brings a lot of disadvantages to human like competition among people. This will be discussed later on.
Cosmetic Surgery has a lot of risks and side effect. For example, if the surgery was not done successfully, the clients’ look will become worse than before (Keong Ja, W 2004). Even people did the plastic surgery successfully, they will have more wrinkles and their look will become older than other people who did not do cosmetic surgery (Keong Ja, W 2004). In fact, if only your look is normal. You simply don’t need to do cosmetic surgery. Because it not only costs a lot of money, but also made your appearance looks more worse if the surgery was not done successfully. Furthermore, people will have side effect after they did cosmetic surgery like they will have surgical risks, emotional damage, physical pains and blood loss etc. Some of the clients want to suicide because they become worse than before after did the plastic surgery (Gelezean, V 2015). While some of the clients will feel resentment or angry toward their doctor as they feel unsatisfied of their look. Apart from this, there will have risks when doing the cosmetic surgery like blood loss. Blood loss may occur if the surgery went wrong (lifehack.org). Organ failure or even death will happen if there are large amounts of blood l...
