What In The Woolly Mammoths?
Long ago, there was a creature that ruled over the land, they were a feared creature among all the other animals. They were bigger then the modern-day elephants and had hair as long as Rapunzel. They were as tall as the tallest sky scraper that was ever made. The climate was mostly cold but that was all about to change with the upcoming days. The village was built around these huge icebergs, the icebergs were the size of and woolly mammoths stomach when breeding. In an village right outside of the Artic poles was a family of five that were the most respected family in the village. Mato was the chief of the village and his family was treated with royalty. The village had run off of traditions that they had followed for years, and Mato made sure no one disobeyed.
Mato had two daughters and one son, he hated his son. His son thought differently from everyone else in the village including his father, and his father shunned him. Mato’s wife, Faith always told Mato to be easier on him because he was just a boy with his own thoughts. Mato never wanted people to think of him as less of a chief because he couldn’t keep his son in line. Mato didn’t know that his son may be the one to save his life one day. Mato held weekly meetings in the center of the village for families, he would hold theses to make sure things are running smoothly. The task around the village were quite simple. Job titles were assigned based on how womanly or masculine the child was. Such jobs involved weather watcher, icebergs watcher, farming, fishing, and if women where mature enough their job was to breed. Mato ruled his village the same way he ran his home.
