He was willing to be separated from his family even though he would miss them a lot. He trained long and hard. He was very devoted and determined to what he was doing, that it was right, every second of every day of his life.Third, it showed that he was dependent on God. He always said, "Those who honor me, I will honor." And he lived by this one principle alone. He believed whole heartedly that it was true and that God would honor him if he tried his best.In conclusion, I think that Chariots of Fire was a very good portrayal of Eric Liddell and his walk with God during his life. They showed he was determined, and that he was willing to be separated from those he loved just to honor God. Chariots of Fire won four academy awards in 1981.
