The source Augustine, The City of God, by Kenneth L. Campbell, addresses the views that are associated with god according to Augustine, along with his faith. Augustine takes a unique perspective when analyzing god and how it appears he feels that God is more important than anyone's life. This source shares an interesting perspective since it is clear that people had stronger beliefs in the past. What I found interesting is that Augustine said there are two gods, one good and one evil.

Augustine has a subjective perspective of time and says that time is nothing in reality but exists only in the human mind's version of reality. He believes that time is not infinite because God "created" it. Augustine believes that God manifests himself throughout history, at all places and at all times, as creator and lord of the world. Augustine said history has a distinct beginning and end, through which God worked to provide salvation to humanity. According to Augustine, this world we know was created and brought into existence by a perfectly good and just god.
