Health and wellness play an important role in the lives of many people in todays society.

Health can be seen as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being (Koshal. 2011). Wellness is the active process of being mindful and determining choices to improve an individuals own health and satisfaction of their life. Wellness is the state of living a healthy lifestyle. (Koshal. 2011). Being healthy and having wellness could also play a major part in ones behaviors as a whole. As one takes the time to focus more on their health and wellness, it may be possible to notice the change in people around you and the decisions you make as well. Now that people are becoming more health conscious, society is also adapting by providing different ways to help improve health and wellness among their communities. There a number of gyms, yoga studios, cycling classes, cooking classes, and even financial assistance in many communities today that promote health and wellness.
