Introduction
Hello Let me ask you some questions before we begin.
Have you ever wondered who designed your typical car?
Or what type of job that person would have.
When you think of these things you all probably think engineers and you would be right, but
There are many different types of engineers most of which are very specific fields of what they design and manufacture.
All of my interest started When I lived in Detroit, Michigan
My parents’ friends both worked at the ford plant but didn’t have any kids so they took me to take your kid to work day.
From their I saw everything they did how they designed and produced mustangs using special computer programs and even a 3D clay model sketched out by a Robot.
My goal for today is to inform you about Mechanical engineering and the importance of this title in the Car manufacturing world.
First, I will talk about how you become a mechanical engineer
Second, I will talk about what they do
And lastly, I will talk about how their skills are applied to the car manufacturing world
There are many different classes one must take to become a mechanical engineer
During middle school and high school
They should really focus on math, science and of course public speaking
During college
It is highly recommended that they complete Calculus 1 2 and 3,With also taking Physics and chemistry throughout their education.
