1. Have you ever served in any leadership positions (church, school, scouts, etc. )?

I was selected to be the 5th-grade representative for K-Kids, which is a big responsibility because you help organize events, donations, and much more. Also, I was a member of the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) since 4th & 5th grade. I was nominated to be Reading Olympics captain in 5th to 7th grade so far. That was an important position because I was responsible for responding to the question and facilitating the discussion. Thus, in 5th grade, I received the Citizenship Award presented by Tom Murt because of my hard work and dedication to helping the school and my peers. I was also a Field Day Captain in 6th grade. Lastly, I have been a Student Council member since 6th & 7th grade at the middle school.

2. What three qualities do you think are necessary to be a good leader?

I think that an important quality to be a leader is to be hardworking. This is important because you can't have success without working hard to achieve it. I believe that if you work diligently, you can accomplish anything. Another important quality is having a positive attitude. Having a positive attitude is crucial because a positive attitude leads to success and happiness. A positive attitude brings optimism into your life and makes it easier to avoid worries and negative thinking. Lastly, honesty is an important virtue to becoming a great leader. Since leaders serve as role models, it is important that they are straightforward, truthful, and have integrity. These characteristics create trust, which is critical to leaders in all positions. Those are some of the many qualities it takes to be a good leader.
